 I was born in Kansas City, Missouri. I had been attending college there when in Aug. 1998 I was offered a job modeling in Los Angeles. I moved to Hollywood, where I lived for a year, with my roommate Justin. I modeled a little, but ended up taking a job at Red Balls on Fire, selling clothing. Then in Oct 1999 I decided to return to my parents in Kansas City to finish up college. In Kansas City, I started an Industrial EMail list called the KCRivetHed list. And the summer of 2000 I studied abroad in Lyon, France. In less than a year, I received my degree and began sending out resumes. I was offered an interview at Lip Service Clothing and flew out the following day to Los Angeles where I would settle into my new life. I met Peter J. Ford at a VNV Nation concert Sept. 22nd, 2000. and we fell immediately in love. I received the job at Lip Service, and worked my way up to VP of Sales. In 2005 I left Lip Service to move on to Steady Clothing and moved down to OC to live with Peter J. Ford. On September 22, 2007 (exactly seven years to the day that we met), we were married.
